Singer and song-writer, Kyn is a contemporary R&B artist with range, versatility and style! After taking her dream of becoming a music artist seriously, Kyn decided to audition for America’s popular television show, The Voice. Although she didn’t advance to the next round, Kyn used discouragement as her stepping stone to elevate her music career and perfect her craft.
Born Kendra Adams in McDonough, Georgia, Kyn was influenced by different genres of music, Beyoncé and Kiana Ledé. She sang in the middle school choir, and eventually singing the National Anthem at local sporting events. Later, Kyn started gracing Valdosta State University with her gift by performing solo for her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta and several other organizations and events.
In 2018, Kyn released her debut project, Kyn’s Diary, a relatable and soulful, R&B EP about friendship, love and heartbreak. This EP showcases personality, vocals and writing style through five songs. Her leading single, Questions is a relatable vibe produced by Jay-O, an Atlanta based producer and song-writer working with Kandi Burress. Kyn’s Diary is available on all streaming platforms.
